About the Retreat

An authentic yoga retreat at Ayurveda Yoga Villa in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, guided by Bhoomaji Chaitanya. This retreat offers a deep experience of yoga and Ayurveda in a truly special place surrounded by lush nature, near the Kabani River and close to a tiger reserve in northern Kerala.

You will immerse in authentic practices including asanas, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, and Ayurveda guided by experienced teachers, a Swami of philosophy, and an Ayurvedic doctor.

Location

Ayurveda Yoga Villa in Wayanad is a holistic research center and Ayurvedic clinic located in Kerala, known as the land of the gods and cradle of Ayurveda.

Situated on the banks of the Kabani River and surrounded by the evergreen forest of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, the center is rich in medicinal herbs.

Ayurvedic doctors provide personalized analysis and treatments using herbs grown locally, prepared following classical Ayurvedic methods.

Meet Your Teachers

Bhoomaji Chaitanya

Entered monastic life at 18, studied Sanskrit and yoga scriptures, trained in Sivananda Ashram, and completed advanced yoga training. Lived as a sadhu, practiced in Gangotri caves, and founded Aarsha Yoga Vidya Peetham.

Known for simplicity, charisma, and deep yogic wisdom.

Swami Nadananda Puri

A spiritual teacher with decades of experience in Vedanta and yoga philosophy. Living a sadhu life and teaching yoga and scriptures since 2001.

Hatha Yoga Experience

Based on Ahimsa (non-violence), suitable for all levels. Practices include asanas, pranayama, kriyas, and meditation.

The Sivananda method is both respectful and energizing. Yoga paths explored include: Bhakti, Jnana, Hatha, and Karma Yoga.

Includes mantra chanting (kirtan), philosophy sessions, and cleansing practices to support energy flow and mental clarity.
